In short

You can use the organ registry without giving any data. The site sets no cookies for visitors, uses no analytics or advertising services and loads no fonts, scripts, maps or videos from other servers. A cookie notice is therefore not needed.

Server logs

With every request the web server records the IP address, date and time, the address requested, the status code, the amount of data sent, the previous page and the browser identifier. We need these to run the site securely and to find errors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Web server logs are deleted after 14 days; the application's logs are limited to a few megabytes and are overwritten continuously.

Editors

For editors we store name, user name, email address, the password only as an encrypted hash, and for every sign-in the IP address and browser identifier, until sign-out or deletion of the account (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The sign-in page and the editors' area set strictly necessary cookies for this (protection of the sign-in form, the session).

Email

If you write to one of the addresses given, we use your details only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Sound samples and some references link to other providers, for example YouTube. These pages open only when you click the link; their providers' privacy policies apply from then on.

Service providers

Operation and maintenance: CUBUS ARTS S.R.L., Sibiu. Servers and backups: Hetzner Online GmbH, data centres in the European Union. Both process the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). No data is transferred to countries outside the EU. Database backups are made daily and overwritten after a few days.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability (Art. 15–21 GDPR); please write to the address above. You can also lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
